इस अध्याय में हम प्रेजेंट कंटीन्यूअस टेंस की पहचान,  प्रेजेंट कंटीन्यूअस टेंस बनाने के नियम, तथा Present Continuous Tense Examples के साथ सीखेंगे। इसे हिंदी में अपूर्ण वर्तमान काल भी कहते हैं।

Present Continuous Tense in Hindi | अपूर्ण वर्तमान काल

कंटीन्यूअस का अर्थ किसी कार्य का जारी रहना या बिना रुके निरंतर बना रहना होता हैं। इसलिए Present continuous Tense में काम का जारी रहना पाया जाता है और काम के जारी रहने का समय नहीं दिया जाता है।

•  वह जा रहा है।
•  वह पढ़ रहा है।
•  मैं दौड़ रहा हूं।
•  तुम सो रहे हो।

प्रेजेंट कंटीन्यूअस टेंस के वाक्य से ज्ञात होता है कि कार्य अभी पूरा नहीं हुआ है बल्कि जारी है जैसा की उपरोक्त वाक्य में प्रतीत हो रहा है। इसे Present Progressive Tense के नाम से भी जाना जाता है क्योंकि कार्य का वर्तमान में होना प्रतीत होता है।

प्रेजेंट कंटीन्यूअस टेंस की पहचान | Definition of Present Continuous Tense

जब वाक्यों के क्रियाओं के अंत में रहा है, रही है, रहे हैं, बैठा है, बैठा है बैठा है, खड़ा है, खड़ी है, पड़ी है, लेटा है, लेटी है इत्यादि शब्द आते हैं। उसे Present Continuous Tense कहते हैं।

Example of Present Continuous Tense 

• वह स्कूल जा रहा है।
• सीता पत्र लिख रही है।
• राम पढ़ रहा है।
• राजू खेल रहा है।

उपरोक्त उदाहरण से स्पष्ट हो रहा है कि कार्य वर्तमान समय में हो रहा है और वाक्य के अंत में रहा है, रही है शब्द लगा है इसलिए यह Present continuous Tense के वाक्य हैं।

• He, she ,it तथा एक वचन कर्ताओं के साथ सहायक क्रिया is का प्रयोग करते हैं।
• I के साथ सहायक क्रिया am लगाते हैं।
• We, you, they तथा बहुवचन कर्ताओं के साथ सहायक क्रिया are का प्रयोग करते हैं।
• सभी कर्ताओ के साथ मुख्य क्रिया के पहले रूप में ing जोड़ते हैं।

Examples–

• राम स्कूल जा रहा है।- Ram is going to school.
• मैं पत्र नही लिख रहा हूं।- I am not writing a letter.
• क्या हम अंग्रेजी पढ़ रहे हैं?- are we studying english?

Present Continuous Tense Affirmative Sentences in Hindi

Present continuous Tense के एफर्मेटिव सेंटेंस (साधारण वाक्य) में सबसे पहले हम Subject को लिखते हैं उसके बाद सहायक क्रिया लिखते हैं फिर Main verb (मुख्य क्रिया) को लिखते हैं।

Structure- Subject + is/are/am + main verb (1st form) + ing + object

• He, she ,it तथा एक वचन कर्ताओं के साथ सहायक क्रिया is का प्रयोग करते हैं।
• I  के साथ सहायक क्रिया am लगाते हैं।
• We, you, they तथा बहुवचन कर्ताओं के साथ सहायक क्रिया are का प्रयोग करते हैं।

1. मैं खेल रहा हूं।- I am playing.
2. श्याम अखबार पढ़ रहा है।- Shyam is reading newspaper.
3. राजू बाजार जा रहा है।- Raju is going to market.
4. हाथी जा रहा है।- The elephant is going
5. वह मैदान में दौड़ रहा है।- He is running in the field.
6. लड़के फुटबॉल का मैच खेल रहे हैं।- The boys are playing a football match 
7. राधा और पूजा पढ़ाई कर रही हैं।- Radha and Pooja are studying.
8. आज बारिश हो रही है।- Today is raining.
9. मैं सिनेमा देख रहा हूं।- I am watching movie.
10. बच्चे बारिश में घूम रहे हैं।- The children are walking in rain
11. राधा नाच रही है।- Radha is dancing.
12. मुकेश अब आ रहा हैं।- Mukesh is coming now 
13. वे खेल रहे हैं।- They are playing 
14. लड़कियां खो-खो खेल रही हैं।- The  girls are playing Kho Kho 
15. विनय क्रिकेट खेल रहा है।- Vinay is playing cricket. 
16. वह ब्लैकबोर्ड पर अपना नाम लिख रही है।- She is writing her name on the blackboard.
17. आपका शिक्षक अध्याय 5 पढ़ा रहा है।- Your teacher is teaching chapter 5.
18. वह कल घर जा रही है।- She is going home tomorrow.
19. वह आज शाम गा रही है।- She is singing this evening.
20. चाँद आसमान में दिख रहा है।- The moon is appearing in the sky.

Present Continuous Tense Negative Sentences in Hindi 

जब प्रेजेंट कंटीन्यूअस टेंस के वाक्य में नहीं शब्द आए तो is, are, am के बाद not लगाते हैं।

Structure- Subject + is/are/am + not + main verb (1st form) + ing + object

8. आज बारिश नहीं हो रही है।- Today is not raining.
9. मैं सिनेमा नहीं देख रहा हूं।- i am not watching movie.

Present Continuous Tense Interrogative Sentences

किसी भी वाक्य में प्रश्न सूचक शब्द दो प्रकार के होते हैं। 

1. Yes-No Sentence
2. WH Sentence

1. Yes-No type Sentence- जब प्रश्न सूचक शब्द क्या वाक्य के पहले आए तो प्रश्न सूचक शब्द की अंग्रेजी नहीं बनाते हैं कर्ता के अनुसार सहायक क्रिया सबसे पहले लिखते हैं। तथा वाक्य के अंत में प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह (?) अवश्य लगाते हैं।

Structure-  is/are/am + Subject + main verb (1st form) + ing + object + ?

1. क्या लड़कियां कमरे में पढ़ रही हैं?- Are the girls reading in the room?
2. क्या सूर्य आकाश में निकल रहा है?- Is the sun rising in the sky?

4. क्या वह गाना  गा रही है?- Is she singing a song?
5. क्या तुम सो रहे हो?-  Are you sleeping?
6. क्या आप आज जा रहे हो?- Are you going today?
7. क्या आप आराम कर रहे हो?- Are you resting?
8. क्या राधा नाच रही है?- Is Radha dancing?
9. क्या मुकेश अब आ रहा हैं?- Is Mukesh coming now?
10. क्या वे खेल रहे हैं?- Are They playing? 
11. क्या लड़कियां खो-खो खेल रही हैं?- Are the girls playing Kho Kho?

2. ‘Wh’ Sentences- अगर प्रश्न सूचक शब्द वाक्य के बीच में आए तो प्रश्न सूचक शब्द की अंग्रेजी सबसे पहले बनाते हैं।

• Who – कौन, किसने, किन्होंने
• How – कैसे, कैसा, कैसी
• What – क्या
• When – कब, किस समय
• Whom – किसे, किसको, किनसे
• Where – कहां, किधर
• Whose – किसका, किसकी, किसके, किनका
• Which – कौन सी, किस
• How much – कितना, कितनी ( Singular )
• How many – कितना, कितनी ( Plural )
• How long – कब तक

Structure-  Wh word + is/are/am + Subject + main verb (1st form) + ing + object + ?

2. तुम पत्र क्यों लिख रहे हो?- Why are you writing a letter?
3. तुम कहां जा रहे हो?- Where are you going?
4. वे कहां से आ रहे हैं?- Where are they coming from?
5. तुम कमरे में क्या कर रहे हो? What are you doing in the room?
6. बच्चे बारिश में क्यों घूम रहे हैं?- Why are children walking in rain?
7. राधा क्यों नाच रही है?- Why is Radha dancing?
8. मुकेश अब क्यों आ रहा हैं?- Why is Mukesh coming now?
9. वे क्यों खेल रहे हैं?- Why are they playing?
10. लड़कियां खो-खो क्यों खेल रही हैं?- Why are the girls playing Kho Kho?

जब वाक्य में प्रश्न सूचक शब्द ‘कौन’ या ‘किसके’ आए तो इनकी अंग्रेजी who लिखते हैं तथा who के साथ सहायक क्रिया is लगाते हैं।

• तुम्हें हिंदी कौन पढ़ा रहा है?- Who is teaching you Hindi? 
• तुम्हें कौन बुला रहा है?- Who is calling you?
• मेरा इंतजार कौन कर रहा है?- Who is waiting for me?

Present Continuous Interrogative Negative Sentence

Rule 1. अगर Present continuous Tense में प्रश्न सूचक शब्द वाक्य के पहले आए और वाक्य में नही शब्द हो तो, सहायक क्रिया is/are/am के बाद कर्ता लिखते हैं।

Structure – Is/are/am + Subject + not + main verb (1st form) + ing + object + other words + ?

Example-

• क्या तुम स्कूल नहीं जा रहे हो?- Are you not going to school?
• क्या वे नहीं पढ़ रहे हैं?- Are they not reading?

Rule 2. अगर Present continuous Tense में प्रश्न सूचक शब्द बीच में आए और वाक्य में नही शब्द हो तो, प्रश्न सूचक शब्द की अंग्रेजी सबसे पहले लिखते हैं फिर सहायक क्रिया is/are/am लिखते हैं।

Structure – Wh-word + is/are/am + Subject + not + main verb (1st form) + ing + object + other words + ?

Examples-

1. तुम क्यों नहीं पढ़ रहे हो? – Why are you not reading?
2. आज बारिश क्यों नहीं हो रही है? – Why is it not raining today?
3. वे आज क्यों नहीं आ रहे हैं?-  Why are they not coming today?

Rule 3. How many, How much, which तथा whose से सम्बंधित Nouns जुड़े रहते हैं। इस प्रकार के सेंटेंस को निम्न तरीके से बनाते हैं।

Structure – Wh-word + noun + helping verb +  subject + verb + ing + object + other words + ?

Example-

• कितनी लड़कियां मैदान में खेल रही हैं? – How many girls are playing in the field?
• तुम कितना दूध पी रहे हो? – How much milk are you drinking?
• सीता किसकी पुस्तक पढ़ रही है?- Whose book is Seeta reading?

कुछ शब्द ऐसें हैं जो Present Continuous Tense की तरह होने के बाद भी Present Indefinite Tense के नियम के अनुसार बनाया जाता है।
जेसे- Love, Feel, Hope, Think, hate, fear, believe, See, Recognize, notice, seen…. इन शब्दों के साथ ing नही लगाया जाता है।
Example- मै नदी देख रहा हूँ।– यहाँ पर (I am seeing the river.) ना हो कर I see the river. होगा। I am hoping ना हो कर – I hope. और I am loving you. ना हो कर – I love you. होगा।

• वह आ रहा है।- He is coming
• आप मुझे भ्रमित कर रहे है।- You are confusing me.
• वह अर्थशास्त्र में एम. ए कर रहा है।- He is doing an M.A. in Economics.
• मैं तुमसे मिलने जा रहा हूँ।- I am going to meet you.
• मैं अंग्रेजी नहीं सीख रहा हूँ।- I am not learning English.
• वह नहीं आ रहा है।- He is not coming.
